About our Child Care Programs
Our center and programs are designed with one goal in mind - to create a warm, loving, safe environment where your child develops, learns, and succeeds.
We are an independently owned and operated center in Newtown, CT. Our director has over 25 years of experience in the childcare industry.
We believe in taking a different approach to helping your child learn and grow by having mixed age groups. Children from birth to 5-years-old are constantly learning and taking from their surroundings. They learn not only from adults, but from the other children around them. Throughout the year, special visitors are invited to our classrooms to provide hands-on, interactive learning experiences.
At Little Explorers, we know that our teachers are one of our most valuable assets. They are the ones who guide, teach, and mentor your children. We only hire teachers who are compassionate, sincere, and educationally qualified to care for your child.
We strongly encourage parents to develop an ongoing relationship with your child's teacher to foster successful development for your child.
In addition to our full-time staff, we bring in Expedition Guides to expose your child to new ideas, including musicians, artists, animal experts, policemen and firemen.
